The following is excerpted from a Collide Magazine interview with leaders of Reality Church, located in Virginia Beach, VA.

COLLIDE MAGAZINE: We can’t help but notice your quality website (www.realitychurchhome.com). What value do you place on it and who helped design it?

MEDIA TEAM LEADER DAVE DANIELS: We launched our new site in February of this year. We met John [Stewart] from Faith Network (www.faithnetwork.com) at Catalyst in Atlanta last October and were impressed with their work and decided to use them as our designers and hosting company. John and his team hit a home run on the design and layout of the site. It helps convey the setting you can expect at Reality. We target lost people in our culture and wanted to create a site that would reflect a current look and feel. We place extreme importance on our site.... We needed it to become a place people visit as often as Facebook. The site is always changing with inclusions like ... our weekly messages. [Our lead pastor] blogs on the site regularly, and we also provide signups for all of our major events.

The following, excerpted from a Collide Magazine article entitled "In Search of the Best Church Websites," features the website of Oasis Christian Center, created and hosted by FaithNetwork:

Oasis Christian Center (Los Angeles, CA)

Oasis Christian Center’s website explodes with vibrant images. While there might be a lot to take in initially, the site’s layout is actually quite simple. Rather than being driven by textual navigation, Oasis’s Flash-based website utilizes the power of images to guide the user through the site. Oasis displays their top five values—Connect, Serve, Give, Reach, and Lead—and each clickable value directs the user to a place where you can get involved. The site makes visitor information such as service times, location, and contact information readily available on the home page. The main navigation menu is divided more specifically than other sites making it easier to find the information you’re looking for in as few clicks as possible. The trade-off, of course, is that the menu bar features 12 items, which might be a tad overwhelming to some. Oasis Christian Center offers a vast media library, called OasisWired, which includes audio and video of sermons, blogs, podcasts, and photos. Oasis also live-streams their service on the website through a beautifully integrated video player.

From the comments thread:

KRISTEN TARSIUK: Thank you Collide for the kind remarks about the Oasis Christian Center website. We really appreciate it! We have put a lot of effort into our website, but wanted to make note, especially in today's economy, that we did not spend a lot of money on it. FaithNetwork.com helped us ... The site cost less than $3900. We don't have a full time web guy on staff, we just use their CMS system. They have a lot of great packages and if you are looking to update your site, they are a great place to start.
